London is a city with something to offer to everyone and Kensington is one of the best spots in the city thanks to its proximity with local attractions.
Shopping:
Kensington High Street is a heaven for shopping addicts together with the popular Notting Hill market and Chelsea's King's Road. Also close to the Hotel, the world famous department store Harrods provides goods for all tastes.
Green areas:
Kensington gardens were once Kensington's Palace private gardens. This is where the book Peter Pan in Kensington garden takes place. Peter Pan's statue is one of the points of interest of the park. It is located immediately to the West of Hyde Park.
Hyde Park is one of London's largest parks. It is crossed by the Serpentine Lake and is famous for its Speaker's corner. In 1851, Hyde Park hosted the Great Exhibition for which the Crystal Palace was built.
